Change happens all over the world all the time, whether they are physical, spiritual or mental changes. Sometimes change is good, sometimes it isn't. Often it's neither good nor bad; it's just change.
As changes continue to happen here at Baxter and the Clinic, please keep us in your prayers. Pray that our students, faculty and staff will continue looking to God for spiritual guidance, answers to life's questions, and strength.
One thing will never change and His name is JESUS!
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."
Hebrews 13:8
May God bless you as you serve Him each day.
Cuban Students Arrive at Baxter
After about 2 years of work, planning and prayer, on April 11, 2008 two students arrived from Cuba to study at Baxter. We are very happy to welcome Daniel Blet and Pedro Minardo to Baxter and into the Baxter family.
Daniel plans on being a full-time student in the 4 year program. He is here now without his family, but plans to return to Cuba and later bring his family here for full-time study. We are hoping that Daniel will graduate in 4 years and return to Cuba to help train others to preach the gospel.
Daniel Blet
Pedro is a "mature" Christian and will be with us just for a few months. He will be taking classes with the other students as well as some individual study with our teachers. He plans to return to Cuba and continue his ministry there with some additional training and encouragement to preach the Gospel and teach the lost.
Pedro Minardo
We are blessed to participate in this program.Daniel will have to return to Cuba every 11 months to renew his visa, which is an extra cost to us.We have some help, but we need others to participate in this project. We hope to be able to bring others from Cuba to study with us in the future. If you are interested in helping with this, contact me by email at stevewhite3@gmail.com.
